Wood Primer
Description
A general purpose, oil-based primer that is economical to use and easy to apply. Controlled penetration and sealing obtains maximum protection for all timber surfaces. Genkem Wood Primer provides excellent adhesion for a subsequent over coating with undercoats and gloss topcoats.
SUITABLE FOR USE ON:
New interior and exterior wooden surfaces.
NOT SUITABLE FOR USE ON:
Direct application to wood or plastered surfaces, as well as highly resinous timber.
APPLICATION:
• Interior and exterior surfaces.
SPREAD RATE:
• ±10m2/lt
DRYING TIME:
• Re-coating Time: 18-24 hours
• Surface Dry: ±2 hours
• Hard Dry: 24 hours
• Drying times may be extended during wet or cold weather.
• Surfaces should not be primed in wet or cold weather, below 10°C.
CLEAN UP:
• Tools, equipment and spillages can be cleaned up with Genkem Mineral Turpentine, before the product dries.

• Caution: This product contains ingredients that are hazardous.
• In case of accidental contact with eyes or skin, wash the affected area with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
• This product is harmful if swallowed. Do not induce vomiting, call your local poison centre or doctor.
